The 2005 Hyundai Accent is the final year model for the second generation of the Accent, while Hyundai has major plans to overhaul the Accent with new and innovating features and efficiency to become an even more dominating force in the vehicle market.
The engine used in the 2005 Hyundai Accent is a 1.6L Alpha Inline-4 Double-Over-Head-Cam 16-valve engine capable of producing 104HP and 106FTLB of torque. The Accent is capable of accelerating to 60MPH in under 11 seconds and has a top speed of over 90mph.
Fuel economy for the Accent has been rated at 29mpg around the city and 33mpg on the highway when mated to either a 4-speed automatic or 5-speed manual transmission routing power to the front wheels on 96” wheel-base tires.
